Our programs are designed for First grade all the way up through through high school, with day to day activities tailored to class size and participants . For smaller campers, we include art, dancing, story telling, Native American lore, adventure, and age appropriate science. Children will learn about ecosystems and sustainability.
For older campers, classes include conservation practices, climate change education, journal writing and illustration, ecology and earth sciences, and more.
Camp themes run for either one or two weeks. The first session of each theme offers the basics and fundamentals of each subject. The second session uses these fundamentals to offer a more advanced understanding of the covered topics. Campers are encouraged to sign up for both sessions, but it is not required.
All programs run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. Participants provide their own sack lunches and daily transportation to Tumwater Historical Park, 802 Deschutes Way SW, Tumwater, WA 98501
