Scholarship Information

We are committed to providing outdoor education to all youth, regardless of income. Camp Wa-Ya offers financial assistance each year to help families who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend. If you would like for your child to experience Wa-Ya, but cannot afford the full price, or if you are experiencing crises such as loss of housing, serious illness, or a caregiver’s job loss, we invite you to request financial assistance through our Scholarship Application.

We want to thank the PARC Foundation of Thurston County for providing $5000 towards our scholarship fund for 2026.

How does it work?

  • Visit the Camp Wa-Ya Summer 2026 Program page with your camper to determine which session(s) they are most interested in attending and to see which programs still have space available.

  • If you are applying for a scholarship, please do NOT register your camper. We have set aside a specific number of slots for each session to ensure that all campers have access to camp.

  • Fill out the form below and someone from Wa-Ya will contact you to discuss your request. We review scholarship requests on the 15th and 30th of each month.

  • Once you’ve talked with the folks at Wa-Ya, you’ll be given a code to register your camper(s) and you’ll be good to go!

Our Scholarship Application is closed for 2026. Funds are limited and we encourage you to apply next year. The application will open in mid-January for Summer 2027.
